Spending the ledger does not cover

The total on this page covers lodging, intercity transport, guided city walks, local city taxes and the service fee. Everything below you pay separately, so add it to your own budget before you pick dates.

Travel insurance
Not included. Every traveller arranges cover for the trip dates before departure. We do not sell or arrange policies.
Meals and drinks
Not included, apart from breakfast where the hostel room rate already provides it. Expect roughly EUR 18 to 28 per day for simple self-catering and street food.
Room upgrades
Dorm beds of 4 to 8 people are the standard. A private room can be requested, priced per property and paid in full before the booking is confirmed.
Local transport and entries
Metro, tram and the airport transfer, plus any museum or attraction entry outside the guided walk, are paid on the spot.

Changes and cancellation

Date changes are checked and confirmed within two business days. A change may carry a difference in the property rate, which is shown before you approve it. Cancellation terms depend on how close to departure you cancel, and the full ladder is written in the Cancellation and Refund Policy.

Booking is open to travellers aged 18 and over. Ages 16 to 17 only with a parent or guardian booking and written consent accepted before payment. No countdown timers and no unverified scarcity claims.
